Year 2016, a seed was sown at Bagwalipokhar a rural location of Almora District,  Uttarakhand by the name of POKHRAM. This name was taken from the element water of panchbhuta earth, water, fire, air and sky. The way water is important in our life, similarly the education. 

The focus of Pokhram Institute is to give platform to the youth of rural areas and make them employable by developing their skills in line with the current job space.  The institute offers flexible programs in the filed of healthcare, hospitality, IT and logistics. Depending upon the various circumstances an student can opt for 1 year Diploma , 2 year Diploma , B.Voc degree programs or even masters. Multiple entry and exit makes these courses popular. 

Pokhram Institute of Vocational Skills ( PIVS) is being run under the aegis of Sanjay Hills Foundation a society registered at Govt. of Uttarakhand under society act 1860.
